A seasoned Executive leader in the non-profit sector, Patrick possesses a strong foundation in building organizational capacity through strategic planning, development, capacity building, business modeling, board management, and strengthening areas of impact, evaluative documentation, and communication.
Currently, Patrick is the Executive Director of Words Alive, San Diego's leading community-based literacy organization, providing vision and leadership to the programs and community that serves the more than 5,000 children and families impacted by Words Alive on a monthly basis throughout Southern California. He previously served as CEO of the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC, the Executive Director of Sushi Performance & Visual Arts as a consultant, and as the Managing Director of the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture. Prior, Patrick spent several years as a successful theatre director and producer. Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy with distinction, and graduated from the Executive Non-Profit Management Program at Georgetown University’s School of Public Policy in Washington, DC. With a strong nonprofit background, Patrick is a prolific partner with the region's philanthropic, cultural, and non-profit community, and outspoken advocate for the non-profit sector as a whole.
